Welcome to Cape Coral, Florida!
Cape Coral is a boating community located in Southwest Florida. This waterfront wonderland has over 400 miles of fresh and salt water canals. Founded in 1957, Cape Coral is a relatively a "young" city. Many of the agents at Florida WestShore Realty, reside in Cape Coral. Recently FCAT scores showed many of the Cape Coral elementary school scoring above the state average. Ida Baker High School in the Southwest Cape can boast of its over 97% graduation rate. While this city has quite a large population, there is still a "home town" feel. The city hosts several festivals throughout the year. Two popular events are "Oktoberfest" at the German American club and the Holiday Festival of Lights sponsered by the Cape Coral Chamber of commerce in December.
